At £49.99 it may be a bit pricey compared to the other adult chocolate advent calendars on the list, however it is hard to deny that Lindt is a delicious, decadent favourite for a 2019 Christmas countdown.

If you are looking for something sweet and truly unique then you need not look any further. You do not get much more adult for advent calendars than a luxury French confectioner and their 2019 calendar.
Possibly the most luxurious calendar in this guide it is surprisingly small, but good things come in small packages. At £19.95 the design is full of childish glee, with a luxury coat. It would look perfect on an office desk, adding a bit of quirk and intrigue. There is a very thoughtful design with the inclusion of a tiny magnet to hold the advent calendar closed.
After all this we have not talked about the sweets. If you are looking for something different from the typical chocolate, whilst still being very sweet, then this is the advent calendar for you. The contents of this calendar are delicious and decadent, and you may even feel like a famous French king then this is perfection.

Lakrids have created an advent calendar with such style and flair that it would be confused for a pitch for the next big fashion brand. There are even images of a model walking around town carrying this sleek design and it does not look out of place. Lakrids have even made the box 100% recyclable, appealing to the environmentally conscious.
It would be easy to focus on the box design, but we must talk about the contents. The liquorice is equally as impressive as the calendar itself. Indulgent to the extreme and not just one, but two pieces of liquorice to share with a colleague or loved one, if you can. There is not much repetition in this calendar, so you get a good idea of the Lakrids liquorice range. At £34.95 it is a bargain for the box design itself, the decadent liquorice is just a bonus.

The Biscuiteers know they can charge £45 for a box of biscuits as they are that good. The smell, the taste, the design is indulgent and delicious. You will not have tried biscuits like it.
The biscuit designs have changed this year, from the traditional Christmasy feel to the nutcracker and more religious traditions that Christmas holds. It does not take away from the beautiful work they have done. Once again they have partnered with Sophie Conran for a stunning work of art that encapsulates Christmas and can be passed down through the generations to become a Christmas tradition itself. Along with the unbelievable biscuits it would be a tradition worth upholding.
