The Sports Business Club launch sport support pack
Bringing togetherness during times of isolation, a new networking initiative is breathing new life into grassroots sports clubs.
The Sports Business Club has today, 3rd February 2021, launched its Club Support Pack offering wide ranging help and expertise – plus a boost to ailing finances during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Sports Business Club was started with the intention of supporting local grassroots sports teams and help businesses network through charitable actions.
Founder David Jueno explained: “There’s never been a more poignant time for sports clubs to realise that we’re all in this together.
“Sports fields and clubhouses largely lie dormant with many clubs throughout the land literally dying on their feet.
“So we are pooling expertise and resources to take individual clubs and make them part of a formidable and highly skilled team.
“Businesses that have already signed up encompass education and well being, finance, legal, HR and recruitment, infrastructure and supplies and marketing and merchandise.
“The beauty of our enterprise is that this a game you simply can’t lose. Working together is a mutual win-win with a fund that directly helps grass roots clubs all over the country.”
There is a just giving fund, https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/thesportsbusinessclub, the people can donate to and this fund will be used, under the advice of a committee of people from sporting associations, to help reduce running costs of sports clubs all over the UK.
Many sporting ambassadors have put their name and comments to endorse The Sports Business Club project such as Dean Holdsworth, Luke Chadwick, Gary Caldwell, Denilson, Jamie Forrester, Danny Thomas, Matt Elliott, John Robinson, Vinny Samways, Matt Lockwood, Keith Boanas, Lee Probert, Mark Halsey, Jon Macken, Natalie Hurley, Taz Bricknall, Corinne Evans and many more.
With many businesses proud members of the charitable networking group donating a percentage of the profits gained from the club to grassroots sports. Businesses like: Convergence Communications, Recruital, Stuart Wade and Footprint Signs & Graphics.
