Bojoko Wins Affiliate Idol of the Year 2023

The UK-facing gambling comparison site Bojoko.com has snapped up the Affiliate Idol of the Year at the 2023 edition of the IDOL Awards.

Idol

Bojoko CEO Joonas Karhu told Talk-Business: “This was a great honour and a testament to what hard work and good planning can achieve. We at Bojoko have always aimed to provide the users with the best possible service, go the extra mile and give them the technological solutions, such as our easy-to-use filters, which help players make quick, informed decisions.”

“Our core belief has always been to be the change we want to see. In affiliate marketing, many sites have done the same thing repeatedly, but we wanted to be different. We wanted to stand out and innovate in a field that we felt had grown stagnant. We have a wonderful team that has helped make this all possible.”, Karhu stated.

The IDOL Awards

The IDOL Awards were held for the seventh time in November 2023 in St Julian’s, Malta. The award ceremony, dubbed the “iGaming Oscars”, is a highly-regarded annual event that brings together the biggest names in iGaming.

The awards are given in nineteen individual categories and nine company categories. This year’s shortlist was reportedly comprised of 2,300 nominees.

In addition to being an award ceremony, the IDOL Awards is also a charity event. In 2023, the supported charity was the MSPCA Organisation.

Consistent Award-Winner

Bojoko is not a stranger to iGaming industry awards. Since their launch in 2017, Bojoko has been shortlisted several times for multiple awards and has won different Affiliate of the Year awards every single year starting from 2020. EGR, EGR Nordics, MiGEA, and IDOL have all picked Bojoko as a winner.

“We could not be happier with the string of nominations and wins we have received over the last three years. Each win encourages us to go further, innovate more, and discover new ways to simplify players’ quest for the best online casino, bookmaker, or bingo site for them. In my view, it is not enough to simply give an overview of what the industry offers, but that each player can easily discover the operators that cater to their taste and preferences.” Karhu added.
